I’ve built a space where you can feel comfortable, move your body, and get stronger—without the pressure.

For those who’ve walked into a gym, felt out of place, and never went back—this is for you.
For those coming back from injury and feeling unsure—we’ll take it slow and work with where you’re at.
For anyone who’s been told “you can’t”—let’s prove them wrong together.

Everyone has their own story and I want to know yours. We'll discuss where you are now, what you want to achieve, what's holding you back, and then together we make a plan to get you there.

I know gyms can be daunting and getting started, intimidating. With me you will never need to wonder what to do, or if you are doing the right things for your body. 

This chat helps us both understand what is going to work for you.

Completely personalised to your needs.  A great place to start for those with injuries, new to training, or scared of feeling out of place in a gym environment. Can be the perfect stepping stone to group training.

Groups are limited to four people. Based on your needs and availability, I will group you with like-minded people.  Alternatively, get your friends together and make your own group!

I believe strength training is incredibly empowering. 

Women are SO often told by society that they are weak, incapable, small, and shouldn’t take up space. 

Strength training shows you that you can do things you never even dreamed of before. You have potential, you can grow, develop, challenge yourself, learn new skills, recover injuries, and love the journey.

Yoga

TIME OUT

Yoga is total relaxation and time out for you.

We live in a fast-paced, stressful environment, so much focused on doing, moving, comparing, and bettering. We need a chance to stop, and be. 

 

Yoga is your permission to switch off. 

No one is looking at you (except me). Your flexibility, strength and mobility don’t matter. Come to relax!

I started AmberKay to create a space where you can feel at ease moving your body, ask questions without hesitation, and challenge yourself in ways that feel right for you. The fitness world often caters to those who are already confident and in shape, but I’m here for the people who want more than just a workout—they want the support, guidance, and reassurance that they’re on the right path.

 

My goal is to empower you to reconnect with your body, trust your instincts, and see your own growth. It’s about moving past the uncertainty, embracing your strength, and feeling good in your own skin.

I grew up in Auckland, earned my BSc, and followed it with a Diploma in Personal Training in 2010. Since then, I’ve worked with clients all over the world, helping them rediscover their potential in a way that’s personal and real. I’ve trained people of all ages, shapes, and experiences—whether it’s building strength, recovering from injury, or simply learning to enjoy movement again.
